I have a Stewart model 26 on my 1912 van. This is my reserve one. I figure since I have never fitted the internal cable on my van since I built it in 1995, its not ever likely to wear out, so someone might put this one to use.
It has a scratch on the glass at 5 mph. Apart from that it is undamaged. It has had very little use, as there is no wear...

I have a pair of original hood shelves for a low radiator car. Instead of the hole in the top face at the front end for the headlight wiring grommet, they gave a cut-out in the outside edge to allow the wiring to get to the headlights. This makes them early items.

I am the proud owner of not one, but THREE Model T water pumps! One of the pumps is the type that has the little rectangular access door on the side that allows you to tighten the set screw that holds the impeller to the shaft.

Pulled a runner apart for inspection before doing an engine swap. Found a magnet retainer, bolt broken that ate the oil funnel. Looking for a good oil tube. Shipped to 49431 MI.

If you buy a new reproduction large funnel tube from the vendors, check the joint between the funnel and the tube. I have broken two of the spot welds just positioning the bolt hole on the bracket. As a matter of course, I now braze the funnel to the tube.

How did you bend the crank? Every time I have one ground they bend it & I have to straighten it or send it back & have them straighten it!
30 is a lot ( I have no room to talk I have a Std. 10, 20, 20, 40 in one engine ) If you straighten it make sure the flange is straight or that is an
other can if worms. Many T cranks can be ground...

My limited understanding is it eliminates the need to adjust the points on all four coils which have their points shorted out by a jumper and rely on the electrical pulse from the master vibrator to activate each of the four coils through the timer. It takes the work out of getting all four coils adjusted properly. However it is a one size fits...

Hi All,
I've seen an example of a rear axle where the keyway was very damaged, and wondered if anyone had attempted to do any welding and grinding to get the keyway area back to normal. Is this a practical thing to do? I have some slight damage on the axle at the keyway and wondered if I could/should attempt to repair it so the key will stay in...

If the taper is good, a new keyway could be cut on the other side from the bad one. BUT not a real good idea because it will weaken the axle.
Replace it! There are lots of good used axles out there.

Wanted to buy NOS or good used 5/16 X 2 3/4 carriage bolts. They would have been raven finished originally. I need 4. They are used to hold the pickup box on a 1925 pickup.
