I installed the horn I got today and when I press the button I get one very short sound, so the ground is working. I took the cover off and it is all clean, no rust. I can’t see the diaphragm under the cover but it looks ok down the bell. Is there an adjustment that I need to do?

But battery horns should not! This battery horn most likely responded to adjustment of the weight on the cross spring.

throughput is massively greater than a stock valve

These are stud buckles to adjust the length of the top strap to either radiator base or windshield on early Model Ts, early tops were made up with this style fitting. They are New Old Stock and sold as a pair ( one for each strap). They are made of iron and painted with black Japan enamel. $35 pair, domestic postage $10.

Hello all. I'm looking for a Ford script rear hub puller with damaged or stripped threads (the threads that thread on to the hub). I'm using this as a donor for a non-model t project and need to bore out the ID and rethread it, and just can't bring myself to ruin a perfectly good hub puller.

Has to have good threads in the jack screw.

Wanted thunderbolt valve cover for overhead conversion

On my 28 Chev 4 cylinder sprint car I had a new Jern valve cover and it sorta fit the cylinder head machined surface. I used black gasket sealer and fashioned rubberized damn seal inside the oil galley up against the boss for the original valve cover to sit on.

I had no oil leaks and was able to oil rockers often and keep the engine clean....

I am looking for 2 Hayes Rear Spoke Rims, with small brake drums, that are demountable to buy.
The rim should accommodate a 30 x 3 1/2 inch tire.

The flogged out keyways Kevin mentioned are common on Hayes wire spoked wheels. I have a way to correct this I can share, but it does involve removing the hub from the wheel. Finding hubs is a bonus. Having good brake drums is another bonus, so it may well be worthwhile to strip and re-spoke a wheel.

These were disassembled, bases bead blasted, terminals cleaned, contacts polished & new insulators installed - most have Ford script & original 5/8 wrench size nuts. The second set has seat cutters 31, 46, and 60 degrees. Pilots are 11/32 STD and 11/32-1; these are the pilots for .030 over valves.

Pair of rear fenders for a 1911-12. Overall these are pretty solid; minor metal work to restore but not bad. The original fenders have a slightly different curve than repops, so they fit much better. I can deliver these to Tulare, or they can be picked up, but I can't ship them. $550 / pair.

Jay I would think that even if the shipping was $150 plus for the TT stake panels it be worth it in time & material. At $275 plus shipping you’d still be money ahead. Just my opinion.

Battery box for sale. So far as I can tell it is all original except someone primed the lid. The box still has original paint. The lid has some very light pitting and a few small dings. $150 plus shipping.

Adam, I have one as well as the 1square tail lite and side elites and the number 1 headlights I think I will put them on my 13, though I do like the John Brown lights better but everyone has those. The Victer #1 is more scarce
