New project (non car) completed

Post by babychadwick » Tue Dec 13, 2022 10:25 am

We all have other hobbies, mine is antique (pre rev war) gunsmithing. I built the barrel from a prop shaft I recovered from a sunk boat and the stock from a square block of wood. The inscription on the muzzle translates to "Fire from an angry King" and was used on Spanish guns of the time.

Enjoy

Very nice workmanship. Obviously a flintlock. Would it be classified as a blunderbuss or other variant?

That's beautiful. How far will it shoot a golf ball?

Maybe you have seen them, there are some good videos on YouTube about Blunderbusses and firing them.
I know the voices aren't real but damn they have some good ideas!
