Free breakfast

Post by Grntea » Sat Nov 11, 2023 9:47 am

Went to the advertised "Free Breakfast for Veterans" today at McDonald's. After waiting almost 10 min for someone to come to the counter, I was informed our local McD's was NOT participating. The lady told me it was the owner's decision - he owns 19 McD's. Not to be wining - my wife and I are both veterans and we live in a community that host 6 military bases. So-o-o-o we went across the street to Wendy's and had their FREE Veteran's Day breakfast - and it was GREAT. BEST BREAKFAST I ever had. Just as a side note - I will NEVER eat at another McD's.

That's bad, strange how different franchise owners can do so much different,i read last week mcdonalds gave free food to the IDF in israel. and here, your local 1 couldn't even support it's veterans.
If you can't help em, don't hinder em'

Seriously ? A little research in to Big Mac's operations and you would not
eat that crap if they paid you. Well seasoned fingernail clippings and dog
dirt, with a liberal slathering of carcinogens. Nevermind the woke corporate
BS. Go find a small business cafe, even if the food isn't free. Your organs
will appreciate the effort.
More people are doing it today than ever before !

Got an email from our daughter-in-law to show me all the free meals and enticements various places were offering. I thanked her, and responded that "I enjoy the greater reward of acknowledgement and respect. I hesitate when I feel I'm taking advantage of a business trying to make an honest living."
"Let's Figgur it owt!" Just fix it (right), and make it work.....
Aah-OO-Gah! (and), "Happy T-ing!"

Thats so funny Burger, here in NZ McD's have a great reputation and quality good food standards. However, Wendy's - oh dear that is very poor stuff and not at all appetizing......

Guess it all has to do with the franchisees?
