Label Inside Splitdorf Coil Box Lid
Larry Smith's recent post offering a reproduction of the original label inside the lid of KW coil boxes reminded me of the label that is inside the lid of the coil box on my 1912 Flanders, I thought it was humorous:

The 1912 Cadillac owner's manual had similar advice regarding proper care of the storage battery. (1st year of electric start)

The manual for my 1912 Overland warned, "Don't monkey with the magneto!"

Well, I really like the way they instruct. My grandfather used to keep such a guide until now.pumpkin panic

I wonder if the same person wrote all 3 manuals. (?) The style is similar.
