Had a chance to visit the museum again.

My wife and I visited the museum in Richmond, Indiana this week only because something called Hurricane Ida kicked us out of southern Louisiana almost two weeks ago. We saw the museum several years ago when still new to the Model T thing but now have a greater appreciation. In there is a '26 coupe much like the one we have and we photographed all kinds of body parts in hope that one day we will know how to assemble what we've got and make it look right. Half of the fun was driving our '50 Ford F1 pickup up that way on old roads. The Natchez Trace Parkway from Natchez, MS to Nashville, TN is over 400 miles and has a speed limit of 50mph so maybe when the coupe is complete we may use it to get part way to the museum on a third trip. I recommend the museum to anyone that has not seen it yet, whether you own one or not.

My work took me to Chicago in July and my return trip home took me right by Richmond. I was in no hurry and decided to stop at the museum. It was my first visit and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute. They’ve got some really great displays there and I got a bonus during my visit. I pulled into the parking lot just as a caravan of trailers headed to the MTFCI national tour we’re pulling in. I got to enjoy both the museum and some fellowship with fellow enthusiasts.

My wife and I went to see the museum 2 weeks ago. We enjoyed it a lot. We spent two nights in Richmond and saw many of the sights besides the museum. The housing architecture is interesting and old timy. The town was very prosperous in the late 18 to early 1900s and many factory buildings and mansions remain.
First time I had seen a 2 pedal 2lever T. They had 2 1909s
