How about something to reference size. Are they one inch or one foot across?

Good question. About 1 inch at longest dimension.

Wow, 1" is small. The fender steps I've seen were on Model A's leading up to the rumble seat and were typically about 3" overall?

Maybe pedal extensions for vertically challenged drivers? (my wife is short so I now have to refer to her as vertically challenged:-))
