Re: WTB 1914 or earlier Model T Touring
I have a 1914 touring that is probably the finest unrestored car you will ever find. The fenders were repainted at some point, but mechanically, the car is new. not rebuilt but original new. The driven gear was not case hardened when new somehow, and wore out very quickly. It has been replaced with a NOS gear. The car was made in late 1913 and has no wear on the starting crank or handle, and even has the original side curtains. The original upholstery is still good, but would go to hell if driven much. The top is there, but needs replacing. I will not accept less than $18,000.

I believe that Mark Chaffin currently has a very original 1913 Touring for sale in the Vehicles for Sale section with a recently reduced price.
Make sure you give that a look, if you haven't already.

That was the link that was sent by Michael up above. It's a great car. Wish it wasn't so far away. But then, why would I want two '13 touring anyway? JUST BECAUSE!!modeltspaz wrote: ↑Sat Sep 21, 2024 10:53 amI believe that Mark Chaffin currently has a very original 1913 Touring for sale in the Vehicles for Sale section with a recently reduced price.

Just trying to help the O.P. out.
In answer to your question above, His and Hers?

Re: WTB 1914 or earlier Model T Touring
Couldn't agree more, Tim.
But, like most folks here on the forum, love to have it, but I'm a little short, in stature, cash, and room.
Not 'fer nuttin' but I'm Mike, the guy selling the car is Mark. Just wanted to clear that up. You see, I'm a stickler for names. After all, I've been called "Spaz" my entire life.
