Choke-Rod & Throttle Linkage
I have a 1915 Touring with the usual radiator-mounted choke-rod. Also have an NH carburetor on a high-flow manifold. My problem is that I see a hazardous possibility of the skinny choke-rod getting hooked onto and interfering with the thick throttle-rod (where the cotter pin fastens the throttle rod to the carburetor linkage). Has anybody else had to deal with this problem—or am I just the lucky one?

26 Coupe- My choke rod was off of the car when I brought it. I installed it and noticed that it hangs up also. When pulled, the shaft arm turns slightly and the whole thing gets in tangles. Could be that the shaft arm has excessive play on the square shaft. It now lives in the trunk until I get bored one day and try to resolve it.

The choke rod on my 26 Touring also sticks. It only sticks when I adjust the carburetor, I have to turn the knob back and forth to loosen it up The square shaft is too small for the swivel and does any one know how to fix the problem.
