Blockley tire update
FYI there is a tariff with Blockley tires.
They don’t charge you, you get a bill from shipper.
Still competitive with the other tire companies. Dan

Re: Blockley tire update
Tire expense ought to be considered on a cost per mile of service basis. A quality tire that performs well over a long service life is a bargain, even at nearly twice the initial cost of an inferior tire.

Re: Blockley tire update
That is why I am going to Blockley tire or as they say tyre.
Anything is better than what I have now on my Roadster pickup.
I just was giving anyone else a heads up. Dan

They are at the “gov wharehouse”. You will get an email from UPS telling you how much they charge you. Can pay driver or by PayPal. They kept mine about a week and half.
Strange that I got one right away, but they held the other one hostage. I guess one escaped is became an undocumented immigrant or whatever they are called now???🥸

Re: Blockley tire update
I did just order another one today and saw the price has dropped some. So if you are thinking about getting some, better look into it.

Re: Blockley tire update
Blockley did the right thing by making their tubes thicker. That's all. They refuse to remake the correct valve stems for these tubes, and can't even put a real rubber stem on them. The valve stems they are using are current valves that are the correct size for larger cars like a Cadillac. Not only that, because of the size they throw the wheels more out of balance than the correct size valve stem!

Use balancing beads. They do work as claimed.

Re: Blockley tire update
I like my Blockley tires. I agree with Larry about the tube. It is pretty heavy at the stem. I balance my tire so it’s just a little more weight.

Re: Blockley tire update
If you go to the website and put what you want in you cart, you can get a quote for shipped to your door. Will NOT include the tariff. You get that after the shipment gets to US. That I can’t say what is. Mine was 120 for two tires.
Yesterday the price on website was 135 lb per tire. Down from 149. Cost to you depends on lb to dollars too.

Re: Blockley tire update
All things being equal, all BE tyres originating in Viet Nam, all new stocks should rise in price at the same rate when the new tariff sets in.
