Slight miss and loss of power

Post by David Payton » Sat Jan 10, 2026 5:51 pm

Last week my 26 sedan ran so great but this week there’s a slight missing in the exhaust and a noticeable loss of power. And when I shut the engine off there’s a noticeable vapor coming out of the choke. 🫤 shorting out each spark plug seems to have no noticeable change in engine sound.
I was hoping to post a short video of the fuel vapor coming out of the carburetor choke after I shut the engine off but I can’t find a way to post a video but I think you get the idea. 🤷‍♂️

Seeing that you have a 26 is it a standard carb or a vaporizer? Jim
