For those not familiar with them? Pacific Auto Rentals was an early company renting cars to the movie making industry. Most film makers did not want to keep and maintain a bunch of cars and were happy to pay a few dollars to use old cars for a few days.
The 1915/'16 Ford runabout is interesting. No sidelamps, and extra louvers in the hood.

It looks like Pacific Auto Rentals did a lot of modifications on cars to keep them on the road.
The rumble seat on this car looks like a Model S roadster and the handles on the back of the seat are visible.
However, the body base looks more like a Model N or R. There is no cowl like the Model S roadster.
And the fenders are nothing like Model N, R or S!
Hmmm...
