Out in the snow

Post by jachady » Mon Feb 10, 2020 8:22 pm

I had a good friends dad pass away and his funeral was yesterday. He was a longtime towing operator and a collector of old cars. It was his T that got my juices flowing on ever owning one. He mentioned 2 weeks before his death that he knew it would snow during his funeral, because whenever a towing operator plans something, the weather always gets in the way. He also figured no one would bring out their old cars.
Well, the towing industry showed up. 15 trucks came from across the state to give him their final sendoff. They gave up 4 hours of prime money making snow conditions just during the funeral, not to mention travel time.
I showed up with my Model T. The snow made my 25 minute trip extend out to 30 minutes, lol. I was the only one who ventured in an old car.
Heres a link to my Facebook video of the drive there.
