TT ring gear

Post by Rod Petrie » Sat Feb 15, 2020 9:41 am

Can someone tell me where I can get a ring gear made for my 26TT? It is a 31 tooth gear and worn out.

This post is from 2016, read the whole thing. Donnie Brown posted about price increase even back then;

Another avenue if you can't find a good TT ring gear. The Model AA worm drive ring gear mounts the same but from what I have read, is wider at the teeth but can be fitted with some re-work.
Googling "mtfca; TT ring gear" you can find some information on what is considered worn, for example;

Chances are if the ring gear is severely worn, so will be the worm.
I know the voices aren't real but damn they have some good ideas! :shock:
