TT front motor/spring bracket

Post by Mark Gregush » Sun Feb 03, 2019 12:04 pm

TT motor mount. I did not look real close for makers mark but there is a size difference. I found this at the customers place after we brought the truck back. Not sure what years it was used but am thinking would be latter in production.
Truck was in the shop to do some routine maintenance to get ready to sell. Ended up having to go through the front end and replace seals, inner bearings and a axle in the rear. It was also missing the shoes on the passenger side when it came in.

Parts book.... For 9-Leaf front spring, TT front spring clip #1164-B (fac. no. 2921, with cap) is for '26-'27 TT, uses rear axle shaft nut for fasteners.

Someone put one on my '26 runabout and cut the studs short, wondered why the dia. of the threaded studs were so large

The two were in the same box, so it was easy to see the difference.
