Saturday Evening Post Cover

Post by baltrusch » Thu Feb 07, 2019 10:10 am

I found this Saturday Evening Post (Fall, 1971) cover while staying at the La Posada Hotel in Winslow, AZ, along Route 66. It might have been posted but before my time. It exhibits an interesting twist to our hobby.

Kurt, thanks for posting that. It makes for a very interesting point of view of the Model T saga as that illustration appeared over 47 years ago, when the 1923-ish (?) T in the magazine was about the same age. How many of us were the kids in the T, now looking like the old folks in the red convert ? (But still driving the T !!)
