Post by Rich Huggins » Fri Apr 24, 2020 8:31 pm

Hi my exhaust manifold runs bright red while driving, i smelled something burning ! oh no my floor board is on fire. Luckily i had water, burnt half way through the 3 piece floor board covered it with a sheet metal heat shield. I did drive home with no floor boards ,dam that was hot on the feet is this normal

Missed timed/not enough advance or too retarded or running way to lean. How far do you run the spray needle when driving? Running way too lean is will do this too. Unburnt fuel helps cool valves and exhaust manifold as it pass out the engine.
I know the voices aren't real but damn they have some good ideas!
