Michigan Jamboree Update

Post by Oldav8tor » Tue Apr 28, 2020 5:24 pm

Just to let you know that no decision has been made about whether to hold the Michigan Jamboree in early August. We'll probably make a decision sometime in June. A lot depends upon what the state of Michigan decides to do in the meantime. Barring a second wave of infections I suspect that less-afflicted areas of the state will be open by then, at least in a limited manner. Huron County, where the Jamboree will be held has only had 11 Covid19 cases to date and no fatalities. That said, we don't know if the places we planned to visit will be open or would welcome our presence. Prior to making a decision we will contact all the places on our itinerary and get their input. We'd also like to hear the thoughts of those who've signed up or think they might want to attend. Meanwhile, hotels are still taking reservations if you want to cover your bases. Email me if you have questions.
