Ventilator belt length

Post by dykker5502 » Sat May 16, 2020 8:34 am

My ventilator belt broke. Apparently it's not a straight forward task to order a new, as they come in many lengths. What would be a proper length for a 1914 Model T? They come from 23" to 36".

OK - I also put the question up on Facebook and got the reply: Most likely 23" for a 14, but best would be to take a string around the pulleys and meassure.

If you don't have a water pump your fan belt would most likely be a 23 inch but as you said, measuring it is best. You can also choose from leather or more modern material to replace it.
