Just one of those days!
Drove 25 miles to buy a new bandsaw blade. Spent half a hour installing and adjusting it. Ready to cut but needed to set table at a angle. went to tilt the table and both table trunions broke. Cheap white metal. Found some on ebay but for a different brand. Hope they fit. If not. $34.oo wasted.

I think we've all had those days. No matter what you do it goes south on you. Sometimes it's better to just take a Mulligan. Go have a couch attack and hope for better tomorrow. That usually works for me.

Re: Just one of those days!
Ha, I had that day yesterday Jim. I am building a vintage looking vanity for our bathroom. I built the draws glued and screwed. I went to install them and realized the ballbearing guides take a 1/2 inch on each side. My draw boxes were an inch too wide !!!
I managed to get them apart yesterday and rebuilt the draws this morning. Been there Jim! Was there yesterday, probably be there tomorrow.
Glad to hear your getting some time in the shop after a looonng winter.

I am just so glad to hear that I am not the only one on the island of misery with that black cloud finally gone but a hurricane coming! Glad the internet is up and running!

When you're having a bad day, consider the fate of poor Aeschylus (c. 535 - c. 455 BC). Aeschylus was a very early playwright, considered the founder of tragedy. He died while visiting the island of Sicily, where, according to legend, a bird dropped a tortoise on his head, killing him.
No way could your day be that bad.

I don't know ... consider the fate of the guy who drove into the back of a large tanker hauling liquified cow manure. The poor soul suffered serious injuries but suffocated from aspirating the tankers cargo. Give me a falling turtle any day....

Well, at least your hacksaw blade didn't do what MINE did to me last weekend! I just KNEW I should have put on an extra heavy pair of gloves while hacksawing a bolt held in my vise. Kiss the use of the left thumb good-bye for a couple weeks! 'Good thing I'm right handed. OUCH!!!
