Contact Information for Don L Ritchey (California)?

Post by erkbrn » Sat Jun 20, 2020 9:45 pm

I realize that this may be a long shot, but I am having trouble finding any information. Does anyone have any contact information for Don L Ritchey in Northern California? He was the owner of the Horseless Carriage Garage in Escalon, CA. I used to visit him and his wife Lillian for certain T-related expertise until he closed his museum a couple of years ago. Shortly after that I lost contact with him, although I heard he may currently be in Modesto. His old phone number (still on the old carriage garage website and scattered in older forum posts) is no good anymore. Does anybody know of a way to contact him? Thanks.

Don is still around and kickin ass as usual. He down sized closed his shop and sold most of his cars. Recently he has focused on taking care of the love of his life Lillian, due to illness. He has a couple of car projects going but due to his wife's needs he has slowed down on restorations.

We always stopped by his museum/shop on our way south to the Bakersfield swap meet. Kicked tires and had lunch with him. He and Lillian were always gracious hosts and fun to be around. Their stall at Bakersfield was headquarters for food, drink, and just great conversations. I wish Don and Lillian hope and health.
