AC 26 spark plug gap recommendations

Post by NealW » Thu Jul 02, 2020 8:12 pm

I recently picked up 4 NOS AC 26 spark plugs to use as spares. They were factory set at 0.025 gap. For those who have used AC 26 plugs in their T's, what spark plug gap did you use?

Thanks,

Neal

.030-.032, running coils and magneto with AC's (I would have to check the number on mine), same as Champions or any other plug. Some people like the narrower gap others like wider. Start at .025 and see how your car runs, cars are all different re what gap they like. A lot depends on how hot or cold the 26's are and your engines requirements.
I know the voices aren't real but damn they have some good ideas!

I've been running 26's for years. Same gap as an X.
