aughhh...nuts
Getting the front and rear bumpers back on the Fordor, thanks Jeff Humble. I wanted to find the 9/16-18 square nuts that hold the outer bumper clamps to the backing plates and found them item #56NSQ8/fine @ Ziegler bolt in Canton Ohio.

Scott, I do not remember those being square nuts, I think they were fine thread hex nuts I took off. Please post pictures when you are done.

Re: aughhh...nuts
Jeff you are right the ones I got from you are regular hex nuts, the reproduction sets have square nuts. Will stick with the regular hex nuts as I recently talked with someone @ Ziegler after trying to order based on their web site info as square nuts available in 9/16-18 but are no longer available.
I just dropped the bumper face bars off to powder coat along with a set of wire wheels, should have them back in 3-4 weeks and will post pictures then.

I have not seen bumpers power coated or painted. The original ones I have seen were nickel plated, and many have Chromed them.

Nice to see them back in use again. I do like the look of long bar rear bumpers. Wish they had fit my coupe.
