Top Prop Nut size for 1923-25

Post by SurveyKing » Wed Sep 30, 2020 5:39 pm

In the picture are two original Top Prop Nuts, one on left is about 1 1/8 inch wide and the other is almost 1 1/2 inches wide. Which would be correct for the 1923-25 Touring Car? Both have the same 1/2" nut. Thanks

That 1 1/2" dia. is the proper size of the top prop nut on the '23-'25.

Original nut on my '25 touring.

Horse drawn buggies may have smaller prop nuts. Also the earlier cars perhaps.
When did I do that?
