A birthday today.

Post by ModelT46 » Thu Oct 01, 2020 12:06 pm

Not about my 1910 Model T Ford (so I could list this message), but the birthday today of a fine man, honest, soft spoken, a real gentleman, Former president, Jimmy Carter, 96 years old.

I thought this thread would be about the fact that on this date in 1908 Ford introduced the Model T.

Jimmy Carter is indeed a real gentleman. We could certainly use some of his soft spoken civility and honesty today. Happy Birthday to a truly fine man!!

One of our local residents celebrated her birthday Oct. 1 too. She is 114 years old and the 6th oldest person in the world. I thought about this yesterday. She was born in 1906 and could be the original owner of a new Model T. I don't know her personally to find out if that was true.
