Dimmer coil wiring questions

Post by Corey Walker » Fri Mar 01, 2019 9:44 pm

I found a dimmer coil I’m going to put on my 1921 with the combination light switch/horn button. I know how to wire it but am wondering about how and where the single wire going to the headlights goes.
I found the picture with the arrow in it on a previous post and the single wire goes to the other side to a connector to the wire to the lights. The one I have has a terminal soldered on about 6 inches from the coil so it wouldn’t reach all the way across. The 2 longer wires go inside to the switch. What I’m wondering is for a 1921 model what does the connector for the 2 wires look like and where does it go? The wire i have would be the correct length to go to a terminal block on the firewall but I didn’t think there was one on non-starter cars?
