Making more wood patterns.

Post by Will_Vanderburg » Mon Dec 07, 2020 5:08 pm

Tweaked some cheapo wood to make patterns for Centerdoor roof rail assemblies.

The only roof rails you can get are commercially made in a kit. I have the kit which came with the body I’m restoring in my basement. However, the kit rails are not made entirely accurate

These are rough but are the same size as the original pieces I have from the car. One end left long to finalize that area towards the front of the car.

I have enough of the originals left to extrapolate what they looked like: 2 pieces of wood sandwiched together.
