Safety Wire
So how do you like to safety wire you Mag Ring? Also when safety wiring the 4 flywheel bolts do you need to keep the amount of twists at a minimum so you don't have a bunch of wire on one side that will throw off the balance?

With the safety wire so close to the center of rotation I don't believe it will contribute to any significant unbalance. Just my humble opinion, enjoy. Joe

Safety wire the field coil bolts in pairs as well as the flywheel bolts- no need to wire all four together in either location. And yes, as Joe said- the unbalance from any symmetry issues with the flywheel bolt wire would be minimal at best.
