Re: Vehicle classifieds no worky
You have to be a MTFCA Member to post a vehicle for sale ad.
I think we need some instruction on adding yourself to a group.
Dave I added you to the MTFCA Member group, give it a try now.

Click on your username and select "user control panel", Then click on the tab "user groups". Most folks will probably find that they are only in the "MTFCA" and "Registered User" groups.
If you are also an MTFCI member, you can click on the button on the far right on the same line as "MTFCI member", then click on the "submit" button in the lower RH corner of the page. No administrator approval is required.
If you want to be able to sell vehicles in the classifieds, do the same as above for the "Classified - Vehicles" group. After you click on the "submit" button, your status for that group will change to "pending" while awaiting administrator approval. If you get approval, you will then be added to that group.
You can only apply for one group at a time, you have to click the "submit" button for each group application.

Re: Vehicle classifieds no worky
Yeah Mark, I need to wander around a little more on the PC. I don't see any of that on my iPhone.
My only PC is 120' away in my shop, but I was busy today in there.
I hope there's a way to get email/PM notifications...

Re: Vehicle classifieds no worky
I didn't know MTFCA membership was now a requirement for post a vehicle for sale. It didn't use to be. Is it a requirement, now, to be a MTFCA member to post parts for sale?

"Charging for Classifieds has been discussed at board meetings for some time now.
This is our first attempt at putting a policy in place and is subject to change.
One of the topics discussed is where do you draw the line between the occasional user and someone that appears to be running a business with many ads per month as opposed to the person that posts 1 or 2 per year.
And should non-MTFCA members be treated differently between non-members?
And should MTFCI members be treated any different?
Chris"
