Is it a T Steering Wheel and Can I Get a Key?

Post by ivaldes1 » Sat Jan 23, 2021 6:20 pm

Hi, See picture, is this a aftermarket T steering wheel? It says Sargent G5-33 lock? I will try https://www.lostakey.net/ to see if I can get a key for this.

I have several Model T accessory steering wheels,a couple with Russwin locks that my locksmith couldn’t find the correct blank for. He had the key code but no blank. Someone here gave me a locksmith forum website and I found which blank to use. Turns out it was a camping trailer key ! I found the blank on EBay and took it to the locksmith, should’ve seen his face when I walked in with the blank he couldn’t find !

Yes, it's aftermarket. Fords didn't come from the factory with costly gewgaws. :D
