Great service from Birdhaven

Post by Tmooreheadf » Tue Jan 26, 2021 9:51 pm

I needed a new drive shaft, a couple of axles and a Fun Projects modern pinion bearing assembly for a Ruckstell project. I placed the order and had all of the parts sitting on my doorstep in KY in three days. The packing was the best I have seen and the parts are correct for this application.
Thanks for such good service. Bill and his staff sure have a top notch operation.

I have always had good service from Bill, and Bill has always been nice at car shows.

Do they have a printed or online parts list or catalog? The ads they put in the club magazine only list 6 or so of their parts and prices? Not complete like the old Texas T catalog. Anybody know?

I believe all they have online is Texas T and FP. The printed catalogue I have is 2016 (125 pages). I guess I need to pick up a new one at Chickasha.

They have a good on line catalog. It is broken down into separate items such as Texas T Parts, Fun Projects and their own stuff. Not as complete to me as Langs or Snyders, but still have those parts designed and made by the previuos owners of those two businesses. The driveshaft was actually packaged in a piece of PVC with end caps, then put in a box with the axles and other parts. Over the top packaged.

The online catalogue bears the Texas T name, not Birdhaven. Apparently it's a work in progress, as it's very incomplete. Many of their products are not shown. I would go by the printed catalogue.

I would phone them and find out. Other dealers carry the FP products too, so if Birdhaven is out of something start calling the other dealers. Somebody may not be sold out of what you want.
