Removing Engine from Frame
I have the 1927 coupe body removed from the frame and am getting ready to remove the engine. I have removed the 4 bolts holding the driveshaft to the hogshead, as well as the other bolts attaching the engine to the frame, etc. Question: Is there anything I need to be careful of when I start separating the engine from the driveshaft?

Be sure to remove the nuts and cap holding the front radius rod from the bottom of the crankcase. You may want to support the front of the drive shaft as it will fall when you pull the engine forward. Drain the oil first of all!

Re: Removing Engine from Frame
You're doing the reverse of what the factory did (installing the engine in a chassis without a body), and that makes it pretty simple. Removing/Installing an engine in a Model T with a mounted body is a hassle.
As was mentioned above, drain the oil or it will run out the back of the transmission when you tilt the engine and undo the radius rods and you should be all set.
