If you want to make your own, use CAD (cardboard aided design), some sheet steel, and a 2 x 4 with a slot cut in it for bending sheet metal. :)

Or just hang a metal box from the exhaust manifold.

A cheap $5 empty steel ammo can is narrow enough to fit and has a hinged snap lid. Remove the rubber gasket from the lid.

Add some metal L shaped straps to hang behind the manifold , with bolts or pop rivets to the backside of the can. You could even dimple the lower end of the ammo can at each manifold stud nut so the ammo can is right against the hot manifold .

Put your prepped meal in a plastic cooking bag , put some water in the bottom of the can, and drive. Check each 20 min and add more water if needed to keep the plastic bag from burning thru. ;) ;)

Another’s custom made cooker, note nice lid and how the cooker is stepped to also assist hanging and get full heat contact.
