Unusual N.O.S. 26-27 Wire Wheel Hub Cap

Post by ModelTWoods » Fri Mar 12, 2021 10:47 am

Recently, I acquired this unusual 26-27 NOS hub cap. The cap is nickle plated and the background around the Ford script and the entire underside of the cap are painted gloss black. I shared these pictures with Dan Trease before posting them here. He and I agree that someone other than Ford did the paintwork.

Dan, You beat me to posting the photos. When I posted the post, I hadn't resized the original photos and they were too big to post. By the time I resized them, you had already posted them. Thanks.

Maybe a little off topic but, did Canada ever make hubcaps? I have a 26 Canadian touring car.
