Dean’s Camper at Chickasha

Post by Dan Hatch » Sat Mar 27, 2021 11:52 am

Does anyone have pictures of Dean’s Camper, like how he made it? Is it made on a 25 Roadster pickup? How about all closed up for the road? Thanks Dan

These are the only two I got. Floor slides back, the rear door comes apart and fits in the bed. He is going to recover it with the material like the rear portion. Has bows that hold the top up.

Dean opened the rear door for me to inspect his 'sleeping quarters'.

The cool door knob and latch is a pair of manifold clamps, twist the outer, and the inner releases on the door jam. ;)

The inner sanctum , fairly snug, but ok for the thin man Dean!

Dean did a series of photos on FB while he was building it. Hopefully he will see this post and share some of those photos here.

Dean posted these Facebook photos and this detail of one version of the camper:

32 inch tail gate folds down for sleeping.
That gives me 6’4’’ with the spare gas tank &storage.
Without the second gas tank there would be 7’4’’
