Oiling cups
23T..Tie Rod lever oil cups. I am missing the cap off one of my oil cups. It sure looks like there is a hex at the bottom, and it would screw out. But, all the oilers I see are press in. Are they all press in type? Thanks..Tommy

Re: Oiling cups
I believe the oilers with the spring loaded cap are tap in. While the oilers (grease cups) with the screw on top are screw in. Jim Patrick

Yes, the flip top cups press in. The screw on cups have a threaded base as well as the brass, knurled twist type shown here.

When did I do that?

Re: Oiling cups
Thanks. It looks like the hex I am seeing is actually the bolt head, and the oiler presses into the bolt head. Is this correct? Re: Oiling cups
Can you post a photo? I’m not sure what you mean. If the inside of the hole is smooth, it is a press/tap in. If the inside of the hole is threaded, it should screw in. Jim Patrick
