I have one coil that sparks on battery but that same coil does not spark when running on magneto. It makes ZERO difference when I place it in the box.
What say you?

A magneto test might be in order. I'd think a weak coil would do better on Mag at anything above idle.

If it buzzes and does not fire across at least a 1/8" gap, it most likely has internal problems. If it does not buzz, I'd look for point problems.
