Is a location given ? I found an outfit by tha tname in Oklahoma, but the name was
changed to Southwest Bell in 1917.

Another reason why, over the years, we’ve been able to find so many turtledecks in such good condition. And they obviously weren’t concerned with aesthetics when they built those ladder racks

The 'truck' appears to be an early to mid 1917 based upon the windshield. It has an unusual windshield, used for only a short time by the factory. The early style 'even fold' hinges, and later style bolted on brackets. Over the years, I have noticed only a few like that in person. I have only seen a few in era photos as well. Although, a lot of the times, that detail on the brackets cannot be seen clearly.

Upon close inspection when enlarging the truck picture it looks like it has a bent hood or just maybe a high hood. It sure doesn’t fit very well. But after much use it probably wouldn’t!
