So many things to dislike about this thing, I think the fact that it is registered and taxed as a "Horseless Carriage" tops them all and just below that, the fact that it is sporting an AACA sticker, as though it is an Antique (though I must admit that the definition of "Antique" with respect to AACA has become pretty much meaningless and I guess this now is eligible). It is no longer an '09, and hasn't been for a very long time, so I'm already past that part...

The article stated that it was built hand-formed on a body buck from original 1909 plans, so thankfully it wasn't a cut-up 1909 Ford.

Unfortunately the one he built prior to this was a genuine 1915 body with a bunch of replica fenders & a Pinto engine & all that sort of nonsense, but the 1909 was a true homemade car (without a bit of 1909 bodywork.)

While not an original T, this car does represent an historic aesthetic as hot rods were evolving out of the Ed “Bid Daddy” Roth era, as evidenced by snagging the cover of a mainstream magazine found on newsstands across the country. I believe that I had a Hot Wheels car that looked fairly similar to this. Another Model T based hot rod that most of us are familiar with would be the Munster Koach, built from 3 Model T bodies with liberal customization thrown around. Even with those early influences in TV and magazines, I have never found this style of hot rods to be attractive. But apparently, someone did…

But I believe that posting just about any highly modified and customized item (cars or other items) on a site that leans towards historical preservation and originality is always going to inspire the desired digital hand wringing and other histrionics.
