Re: fourm
Start it by posting your '10 pile
You can include nice big pictures

Re: fourm
Charley, once you click on the "vehicles for sale" topic, you then have to click on the individual item you may be interested in. Currently there is one, a very nice wood cab TT posted for sale.

You have to be at the Classifieds main page, not inside another person's thread. See the screen shot I just took below. Click on the photo to see a larger version.

Re: fourm
Interesting! I had no idea that non-members of MTFCA would have to pay $20.00 to post vehicle for sale ads. Maybe an attempt to deter scammers.
Chris, what is the official club's rationale?

Re: fourm
Charging for Classifieds has been discussed at board meetings for some time now.
This is our first attempt at putting a policy in place and is subject to change.
One of the topics discussed is where do you draw the line between the occasional user and someone that appears to be running a business with many ads per month as opposed to the person that posts 1 or 2 per year.
And should non-MTFCA members be treated differently between non-members?
And should MTFCI members be treated any different?
Chris

Re: fourm
If, and this is perhaps a BIG if,
If we believe that this Forum exists (and its predecessor(s) and its successors in the years to come... exists for the continued joy and delight of those interested in owning and operating a Model T, and the dissemination of information - tidbits, opinions & facts, it is beneficial to continue this forum.
Yes, there are numerous dedicated volunteers who give of their time to make this venue happen. However, there are costs involved...dollar denominated costs. Is it not "fair" that ALL who benefit from this wealth of knowledge (and picture shows), should share in the cost? I believe everyone should (OK, you now know where I live, so begin throwing brickbrats if you wish)....but I do believe that ALL should contribute to the upkeep of this Forum. Members do - so if a non-member wishes to partake of the benefits of the Classified section of this Forum, I do believe that if an item is offered for sale, a charge should be made. Now - should a charitable person be willing to give away some literature, or a part surplus to their needs, let that part be posted without charge, (Yes, postage charges should be paid by the grantee).
So - let the discussion begin...there are bills to be paid, how will the income be generated to pay them?
