What is this tool.
A friend of mine found this shears looking tool but nobody seems to know what it is or what it was used for. The stamp is - USMC HKP 1945 - on the blade.

My guess since it is stamped USMC 1945 It was used to cut thru enemy barb wire and the teeth near the cutter were used to pull the wire out of the way.
