Our day started out okay with the weather until shortly after the great donut stop at Ackerman Park. Pretty much rained the next 40 minutes on the way to the lunch stop on the lake at Point Aux Barques Lighthouse. It is very similar looking to Ohio's Marblehead Lighthouse. We had a nice pulled pork lunch hosted by the Harbor Beach Lions Club. The lake was a bit choppy due to a fresh NE breeze. It will show a little in the following pics.
After that an exceptional ice cream stop at a fairly famous local ice cream shop at a neat little place called Grindstone General store. Pic attached. Of the store and my huge cone! An optional stop also at Port Austin History Center on the way back to the hotel. Lots of nice driving! Hope you e joy the pics. P.S. ...I'm still not hungry!
But heading out to light supper..finish these and ill try to post a couple more later!
