Re: Our kinda guy.
I wonder who? when? and where that was? Looks like it might have been late 1930's or early 1940's. I can remember some of those days, myself. That car looks like a home made body. Maybe a speedster?

South Dakota (Rushmore Memorial) 1939 license plate.
Quite a mixture of parts. Aluminum handle crank, above axle wishbone, '17 or later radiator and '21 or later spring bracket.
He does look like one of us doesn't he?

Wonderful pics, man, and machine. Tires don't match and he is probably not concerned. Too much to talk about.

Got something going on. Long ways from steering wheel to front wheels! Picture with the gentleman peering in to see what's going on says something is going on! Looking at the first picture close wood board frame looks spot on.Norman Kling wrote: ↑Tue Oct 12, 2021 9:22 amI wonder who? when? and where that was? Re: Our kinda guy.
1939. Early taper leaf front spring, one early oiler front shackle, one non oiler front shackle, some kind of little fork mounted headlights? What's he hiding under that LooNG canvas hood? This guy is making me feel a lot better about my own funky speedster!!
