Hang in there, Sid...

Post by Steve Jelf » Thu Dec 09, 2021 2:11 pm

Congratulations to Model T friend Sid on getting his 1915 running. That's more of an accomplishment for him than it was for most of us. With little mechanical experience, the challenge has been a struggle. Sid and his car are in India, and help is halfway around the world by email, but persistence has paid off. Way to go, Man.

You have a very nice car. I am sure you will, enjoy it, just like many of us enjoy using out cars. It gives a nice feeling when you finally get it running and go for a ride. The feeling continues each year.

Congrats! India is a HUGE country, there are certainly other model T people near you? This is a great website with great people who will help with any question you may have.

Big Congratulations!!
There must be some unique stories to be told about restoring a Model T in INDIA? Hard to imagine what obstacles you must have been faced with. I hope we get a chance to hear and see some more pictures of you touring the countryside.

Congratulations to Sid!

Gene, this thread showing restoration of a prewar Non-Ford in India, gives some insight regarding your post. (sorry for drift)

I have a file which has several Model T's in India. will attach a few photo's
We have a member here from India who restored a Model T there before migrating to Australia.
He was not allowed to export the Ford when he left India.
