Auxiliary Transmission Support
In another post, I talked about installing my Muncie transmission. A member here provided a period manual. My transmission came with a type of brace, but it does not fit well. I looked at the one currently built for the warford and from what I see it should bolt right up to my Muncie, since it bolts to the transmission output flange, which is the same size and height as the warford. Can anyone confirm this before I order the brace?

Re: Auxiliary Transmission Support
Here is the installation sheet for the one that is commonly on offer. The bracket attaches to the holes on the back of the transmission where the torque tube mounts. As best as I can figure, this would be the same size and in the same location as the Warford (though further back). It looks like a good mount that would support the back of the tranny and allow movement.

Damnit I have seen that one, and it should work good! This getting old is not as much fun as I thought it would be. My thought is the support should hold up the trans but not stiffen the frame while doing it.
