Model T Post Cards #3
Here's the next batch of cards for you all. Of the cards that I have that were written on and mailed, only one makes any mention of Ford. I can't help but wonder what made the senders choose a Model T card.

Rich, I'm curious and meant to ask you about the card you added to my first post. It's the same card as the third one above except for the color. Does yours actually have that yellow tone to it or did your computer do that? None of mine have that tone to them.

Re: Model T Post Cards #3
Hi Brian, Your sister Joan got my wife Sally collecting these Ford Post Cards. I hope all the Ostergren family is well.
A few pointers for everyone.
There are 3 sets of 12 Cobb Shinn cards Ford related cards.
each set has a different signature if you look closely .
One has a X between Cob and Shinn, It pokes fun or is derogatory towards the Ford the another has four triangles in the form of a diamond between Cobb and Shinn,it praises the Ford.
The third set have a Dutch /German flavor with wording in broken English and a Dachshund dog features in them. they have the same diamond shape between the Cobb and Shinn.
There is also the Charlie Chaplin set of 12 which has the Ford tribute, all the others refer to Charlie chasing woman.
One separate Cobb Shinn card shows a policemen and two woman, one thin, one large and he compares them to a Ford and a Packard Twin Six.
If there is any Brian hasn't got I can post them later for anyone interested.

Re: Model T Post Cards #3
Bryan, the card I posted was from the internet. The difference is interesting. If you do a search of "Cobb Shinn Model T postcard" you will see a variety of color styles.
When did I do that?

Re: Model T Post Cards #3
Peter, thanks for the card information. I have 11 of the Dutch cards and 11 of the 4 triangle cards, one of which is the Charlie Chaplin card. I guess from that I'm three cards shy of those. However, I have 14 of the Cobb X. Shinn cards and none are duplicates.
