Rod bolt torque

Post by Don ellis » Fri Jan 28, 2022 6:53 pm

I know this dog has already been beaten but I can’t find it. What’s the proper torque for the rod bolts?

30-35 FP if the cotter pin hole is too far off, file a little off the back or move the nuts around.
I know the voices aren't real but damn they have some good ideas!

Really depends on what strength the rod bolt is - grade 5 would be approx. #25 - grade 8 would be as Mark suggested.
