1917 Utility query

Hi. Apologies in advance as I'm not the sort of forum member who is going to add a lot to the group, but am someone who is hoping to learn from your collective knowledge and experience. I stumbled across your wonderful group while searching for some information for a Model T that I have seen described as a 1917 Utility. This was on an Australian site so I'm not sure what the American terminology would be (truck?)

I am wanting to make a 3d printable model of this truck and have managed to find lots of nice photos, but I am hoping I can find some plans/drawings/blueprints to assist in getting the model right.

Below is the model I wish to make, any assistance in finding some plans would be very gratefully received.
If no-one can help, then I apologise for disturbing you and I hope that you all live long enough to restore all the things you want and that your engines never leak oil! :)

Those type of vehicles were usually sent for military use over seas in the first war as running chassis and military or contract carpenters would build them, it is even documented that they used the timber from the packing crates they arrived in to build bodies for ambulances in France. I doubt that any plans would exist but copying photo's might be the best you can do.

Model T Terminology. Pictures 1, 2 & 3 are for different vehicles & years. I'm sure other will respond with a more accurate description of them

No need to apologize Adam. Many of us enjoy questions from anyone interested in a Model T. Ford didn't build a Utility vehicle at least not that early. It likely would had been built to the owners requirements either by a body company or even a back yard carpenter. There would have been hundreds of variations. If you have info on the basic Model T you could design it on your own. What kinds of dimensions are you looking for?

Adam, the car in the link you posted is of a 'Standard pattern Ford Utility' of the British Commonwealth Forces.
They were developed and built during 'The Great War' of '14-'18.
As with a lot of other war-material they were built by several manufacturers and mounted on regular model T chassis aquired from the Ford factories in England and Canada.
i know of a group of guys in New Zealand who rebuilt one for the Centenial of WW1, i can not find the website they hosted about the project but it should still be on the WWW, try to find it and contact them, they should be able to help you out.
