Are the hinges interchangeable on a 1913 vs 1914 Frames? In other words, if I needed a Windshield for a 1914 but I have a 1913 Windshield, can I use the forward folding Windshield for the time being and then change-out the hinges to make it fold rearward when those are located without any other modifications to the existing Windshield Frame??
TIA

The vertical support arms are also different. The 14 ones are bent out so that the windshield can fold down. I have a 13 RHD Canadian touring car.

Good, 1913 windshields are not as plentiful as 1914 windshields and, in my opinion, are worth considerably more than 1914 windshields.
Taking the above into consideration, I would not alter a 1913 windshield. I would use it as a placeholder on the car until a good, 1914 windshield is found.
Also, for the 1913 model year, there four different brands of windshields were utilized so there were differences in design among brands, especially the hinges.
For 1914, only one brand of windshield was utilized so the design was uniform from car to car.

1913 windshields fold forward. 1914 windshields fold backwards. Go figure!
