Brass Radiator Recore

Anyone know of a good radiator shop with experience to re-core a Model T Brass radiator and make a neat job please?

I would Google "vintage car radiator repairs in sarasota florida" and ask shops that advertise as "old school" for references from satisfied customers. These photos from one of the FB Model T groups show why that part about references is important. If you don't find a satisfactory shop locally, extend the search to Florida.

If you talk to a radiator repair shop make sure they understand that it is an for an original Model T and and not a Model T Bucket (Hot Rod)
The past is a great place and I don't want to erase it or to regret it, but I don't want to be its prisoner either.

Thanks for the help I saw those pictures as well, what a mess they made of a brass radiator!

Whoever did the soldering job got the brass way to hot! Check out the solder running down the front tank of the radiator. It ran down an inch. It probably won’t leak but all I can say is WOW. :shock:

I had a tall radiator re-cored years ago... came back 1/2” too tall, and had 3/4” of twist! I made it work on my speedster for a while, but would have been useless on a car with a stock hood. Regardless of who you choose to do the work, do your homework, and choose wisely!

Priceless Rat Rod Ready radiator. Put it on eBay starting bid $200 + shipping as a Used re-core of an Original Brass Model T Radiator. If it doesn't sell it cost you nothing
